Toyria Mattear set a school record in the 400 meter hurdles.

Track Competes at East Regional
The Florida Atlantic track team had three athletes participate the East Regional.

In the 400 meter hurdles, Toyria Mattear finished 12th in a school record 59.39 seconds, while Lindsay Glover finished 22nd in 1:01.20. Friederike Feil finished 12th in the 3,000 meter steeplechase in 10:38.21.

Friederike Feil scored 23 of FAUs 61.5 points at the meet.

Owls Finish 7th at Sun Belt Outdoor Meet
The Florida Atlantic University track team finished 7th at the Sun Belt Outdoor Track and Field Championships over the weekend. The Owls finished 8th at last year's meet. Friederike Feil claimed the 3,000 meter steeplechase title in a time of 10:55.52. It was Feil's third individual title as an Owl, after winning both the mile and 3,000 meter steeplechase at last season's indoor meet. Feil finished 2nd in the 1,500 meter and fourth in the 5,000 meters.
