As a junior (2008): Key part of an FAU lineup that ranked among the nation's best in runs per game (8.6)... Hit .370 with RISP and .333 with runners on base... Stepped in and made 18 consecutive starts at third base (May 15-April 13) after senior teammate and MLB draft pick Daniel Cook was sidelined by injury...14 of those starts came in the heart of FAU's Sun Belt Conference schedule, in which Bubley hit .314 against SBC pitching... Also played shortstop... Went on an 11-game hit streak in March- raising his average as high as .333...Hit the first of three home runs on the season against Eastern Michigan (3/2)... Had a season-high three hits at South Alabama (4/5)... Went 4-for-7 with two home runs and five RBI in a three-game span (April 26-May 2)... Finished the year hitting .280 and drove in 14 runs.
