As a freshman (2008): Made two appearances in late March, both at FAU Stadium... Worked 1/3 of an inning against Cornell (3/17)... Pitched a scoreless inning vs. New Jersey IT (3/20)... Made the travel roster for the team's late April trip to New York but was not utilized.

High School: Three-year letterman at Jupiter High School for head coach Doug Ferguson, playing in District 96A... Totaled a 13-1 overall record in three seasons... A second team all-conference player as a senior and earned honorable mention all-conference honors as a sophomore... Threw a perfect game, striking out 14 against Palm Beach Lakes his junior season... Combined on a no-hitter, throwing five innings against Royal Palm Beach as a senior.
