As a junior (2008): Called upon 18 times in relief... Went 1-1 and picked up a save... Struck out 26 batters in 28 innings... Fanned five in 2 2/3 innings against Cornell (3/17), a game in which he saved... Struck out a season-high six batters in long relief duty, vs. South Florida (4/22)- working a season-high 4 1/3 innings... Contributed right from beginning, pitching 2/3 innings of hit-free baseball against then-No. 5 North Carolina (2/23) in the opening-series and made two appearances in the regular season's final series at Florida International (May 15 & 17).
