FAU Names Mike Jarvis as Men's Basketball Coach

Florida Atlantic University named veteran coach Mike Jarvis as the final Head Men's Basketball Coach candidate during a press conference held in the Tom Oxley Athletic Center's Founders' Lounge, located on FAU's Boca Raton campus. "This has been an extensive and productive search process," said Craig Angelos, FAU's athletics director.

FAU point guard Carderro Nwoji (above) will return next season along with record-setting forward Carlos Monroe and high-scoring guard Paul Graham III

Florida Atlantic Enjoys Strong Finish to 2007-08 Season
Florida Atlantic won 8-of-12 to finish the 2007-2008 season. FAU was 15-18 and 8-10 in Sun Belt Conference play a year ago. First Team All-Sun Belt Conference forward Carlos Monroe and high-scoring guard Paul Graham III will return to Boca Raton for their senior seasons in 2008-09.
