The Florida Atlantic University women's golf team played their best round of golf at the Sun Belt Conference Championship on Wednesday. The team shot a 303 in the final found of the tournament to finish in sixth place with a score of 929 on the par-72, 6,064-yard Robert Trent Jones at the Shoals course.

Kimberly D'Andrea finished the tournament tied for 11th with a score of 228. She was consistent during the three days and shot a 76 in every round.

Karine Bolme, Praewnapa Phol-Uayporn and June Bolme all shot their best rounds of the tournament on Wednesday. Karine Bolme shot a 76 to finish tied for 16th, while Phol-Uayporn shot a 77 to finish tied for 23rd. June Bolme had the seventh best round of the day with a 74 to finish the tournament with a 238 and tied for 32nd.

Gina Larsen rounded out the FAU squad with a 253 and in 52nd place.

For their efforts throughout the season, Phol-Uayporn and June Bolme were named to the All-Conference Team. During the spring season Phol-Uayporn carried a 74.6 stroke average and June Bolme held a 77.7 average and earned five top-five finishes during the year. Phol-Uayporn won three tournaments and helped the Owls win the last four tournaments of the regular season.
